Strategic Planning
Following nearly a full year of hard work, reflection and stakeholder consultation, Council approved the CRTO Strategic Plan for 2011-2016 at their December 1, 2011 meeting. This plan is built upon seven separate strategic directions, each one of them being fairly complex and involving a series of steps to implement, with each one building on the success of the last.
This first year, we’ll be focusing on three key areas:
- Completing a Scope of Practice Review - To ensure that we’ve got the skills required to meet the future needs of our patients
- Improving Stakeholder Communication - To make sure we’re getting the right message to the right people using the right method
- Increasing Member Engagement - By making it easier to interact with us, by better articulating what self-regulation really means for a profession, and by continuing to develop the positive relationships we have established with our membership and the public
