Throughout this pandemic, we have heard from all different healthcare sectors about how ready, willing and able RTs are to step up and do what needs to be done. Student RTs worked as aides while their educational programs were shut down in the spring and summer. Long-standing RTs came out of a well-deserved retirement to help out their colleagues. And RTs in every practice setting have been showing up day after day, ready to take on whatever comes next.<\/p>\r\n
None of this is surprising. This is who RTs are. This is what they\u2019re made for. But the battle is not over, and although there may be a light at the end of the tunnel in the form of a vaccine, there is still a way to go yet.<\/p>\r\n
Stay strong and stay safe. You are needed now more than ever before.<\/p>\r\n
